Department of Power System
Electrical Engineering department is offering M.Tech course except B.Tech course. M.Tech course was introduced in year of 2007 with the intake of 18 seats, in Power System. All batches of M.Tech course, students have completed their degree in the field of power system since 2007 to till date successfully.
The recent advances in electrical power systems have enormous impact on the way of power generation transmission and distribution. The worldwide power sector is in the process of reforms through deregulation and restructuring.This programme focuses on imparting education in the field of Electrical Power Systems viz Advanced Power System Operation and Control, Modern Power System Protection and Switchgear, Extra High Voltage AC and DC Transmission System, Power System Stability Studies. Affiliated to RTU, Kota and approved by AICTE.

In addition to the interaction by way of students visit to the industry, the department has established linkages with various renowned organizations for faculty visits, student training, student internship, and consultancy services. As part of the Industry-Institution Interaction, the Department has conducted training programmers/workshops.
