Department of Cyber Security

The Department of Cyber Security was established to address the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals in the digital age. Recognising the increasing threats in cyberspace and the need for proactive defense mechanisms, the department was introduced under the Computer Science & Engineering umbrella to specialise in cybersecurity education and research. The department is affiliated with Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, and is committed to producing skilled and ethical cybersecurity experts.

Students pursuing B.Tech in Cyber Security at the department benefit from instruction methods that combine theoretical understanding with practical experience through courses about information security and ethical hacking, digital forensics, cryptography, network security and cyber laws. Student training at the program includes both advanced cybersecurity technologies and international security standards for preparing them as futuristic cybersecurity professionals.

Students from the Cyber Security Department secure positions in leading organisations at a placement rate between 80 and 90 percent for cyber defense and penetration testing along with incident response roles and security operations center positions as well as risk analysis tasks.
