School Hackathon 2024 at Sri Balaji College of Engineering and Technology gathered together coding experts along with innovative students. Under the direction of Computer Science Engineering and Master of Computer Applications departments, students faced a challenge to cross boundaries and solve advanced difficulties through their technical abilities.
On Saturday, May 25th 2024 the college campus showed unending energy because participants had gathered for an active day of coding competitions. On schedule at 9:00 AM event organisers together with faculty educators delivered a motivational speech about coding functions combined with problem-solving methods and teamwork in modern technology that changes rapidly.
The event functioned as an effective opportunity where students could implement theoretical concepts through practical applications. A group of experienced programmers took on different programming assignments to test their creative skills and programming efficiency together with their problem-solving capabilities. The teams needed to develop innovative concepts while following the event's "Code - Compete - Conquer" theme throughout the defined period.
During the competition, contestants showed outstanding abilities and dedication and collaborated with co-workers to overcome obstacles. Winners received stunning cash prizes: 1st Prize: ₹3100 2nd Prize: ₹2100 3rd Prize: ₹1100
Student coordinators like Lokendra Singh Rathore, Bhavani Nayak, and Utkarsh Verma helped organise and execute the event. With support from faculty mentors, student coordinators made sure that there was a smooth experience for all by navigating them through difficulties and refining problem-solving methods.
Besides being a competitive coding event, Hackathon 2024 was also a networking site on which students encountered like-minded friends, mentors, and professors. Most of them reported that they were excited to apply what they learned in future projects and competitions and even in future careers in software development and tech.
The venue was charged with a sense of accomplishment and unity by the time the event reached completion at 5:00 PM. The attendees left with worthwhile experience, enhanced skills, and a higher drive to continue on their path in the technological field. The Hackathon 2024 was a demonstration of what is possible through cooperation and innovation. With this event having been a hit, Sri Balaji College of Engineering and Technology is regularly fostering a culture of learning and competition for excellence in computer science.
